Pauls Valley is the home of the Oklahoma-famed Field's Pecan Pies. The Field family first started making and selling homemade pecan pies out of their Pauls Valley restaurant in 1925. Responding to popularity of the pecan pie, the famiy launched a pie factory in 1962. Today, the company bakes up approximately 20,000 pies daily and pecan pies and other varieties are shipped to stores across Oklahoma and surrounding states. Individual pies are sold at a drive-thru facility at the factory.
